On Monday, March 20, members of the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club delivered much needed food and hygiene products to the Community Emergency Service (CES) food shelf located in the inner city.

For the prior two weeks the Club had been conducting its fourth food/hygiene product drive for CES since the pandemic began a year earlier. As had been the case with the previous three drives, Club members really stepped up, donating 824 pounds of supplies to help restock the shelves, as well as some cash donations.

The Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club members have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with CES, which includes packing food orders for clients (pre-pandemic), the annual distribution of hundreds of hats and gloves, and singing at residency buildings where home deliveries are made to clients.
