Mississippi Park Connection and the National Park Service are in need of some helping hands to plant trees within the Twin Cities' National Park. If you can spare a few hours, here are the details!

When: Wednesday, May 27 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m.
Who: City of Lakes, EcoClub and #9 Clubs
Where: Crosby Farm Regional Park in St. Paul
What: Tree Planting! Our job will be to dig the hole (they will have pre-drilled them for us, so it shouldn't be too hard), plant 5-6ft trees, and water in trees as directed by the staff person in our group. We will be responsible for bringing along our own water, a mask or face covering (let us know if you don't have one), gloves if you prefer your own, sunscreen/bug spray, and long pants/close toed shoes. We will be working in the forested floodplain so this job will involve walking over uneven terrain and through some vegetation.
