CBD 101 (The Wild West of Cannabidiol)

With the legalization of hemp at the federal level included in the 2018 Farm Bill, public curiosity about CBD is soaring. Three years ago, no one was searching CBD online, but now there are an estimated 6.4 million unique searches each month and – global pandemic aside – it is estimated to be a $20B industry by 2024. What is CBD? What is an endocannabinoid system? What the heck is a terpene? Why is testing important? Where does a consumer even start?

COL Member Jodi Massey and her husband, Patrick, are the founders of Allvane CBD. Their passion for CBD stems from a desire to find natural solutions that both feel good and do good, and a belief that they can bring more integrity, transparency and quality to a confusing CBD market.
