The MN Craft Brewers Guild
Lauren Bennett McGinty has been the executive director of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild since 2017. She has a B.A. in communication and an M.S. in Project Management. Lauren has worked in association management for more than 10 years. Prior to the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, Lauren worked at Scientific Societies, an association management company, and worked closely on communication, membership, and marketing for the Master Brewers Association and the American Society of Brewing Chemists. She has been working or volunteering in the brewing industry since 2010 and is a Level 1 Certified Cicerone. In her time at the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild as the first female executive director and salaried staff person, Lauren hired the Guild's first internal staff, grew the attendance at their three beer festivals, invested and continues to grow their presence at the MN State Fair and, in 2021, became the lobbyist for the Guild and helped them start a PAC. Lauren also serves as Chair of the Brewers Association State Guilds Subcommittee and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee.
