Our club's first-ever literacy fundraiser, The Land of 10,000 Books and Beers, is this Tuesday, July 24.  Thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket, invited a friend, donated a silent auction item, sponsored the event, donated to purchase an extra book, secured a growler, visited another club to promote the event and more.

Did you know: in addition to drinking beer for a great cause, you'll have a chance to win a wall of growlers from 10 local breweries, plus bid on incredible silent auction items including a private plane ride, three night stay on the North Shore, boat cruise and dining on Lake Minnetonka, beekeeping experience, private tour of the Russian Museum, photography session, tickets to the Hennepin County Library Pen Pals series and more? It's true!

Now's the time - if you plan to attend but haven't yet purchased a ticket, please do so today. Can you also invite three friends to join you? We'd love a great turn out from both Rotarians and non-Rotarians! If you are attending and willing to volunteer for a short shift at the event (4:30-6:15p or 6;15p-8p), please contact me. (You can still drink beer!)

We only have 1,100 more books to go to reach our 10,000 book goal. Let's make a dent in this number on Tuesday!

Special thanks to our sponsors Gray Plant Mooty and The Lantern Group.
